How to Package an Irresistible Offer (Using Your Astrology Chart)

Are you offering a product or service that exhausts you? It’s probably because it doesn’t align with how you work best.
We're not all built to offer year-long coaching packages, or intense VIP days, or week-long retreats. Some of us work better in groups, some of us work better one-to-one, and some of us thrive doing work completely behind the scenes.
Your astrology chart has clues about the ideal type of offer structure that’ll feel the most natural and organic for you. When you align your offers with your astrology chart, they’re not only profitable, they’re pleasurable. That’s the goal.
Before we dive in, I want to emphasize that this process is called packaging, and it's probably the most popular step. It's the fun part of figuring out what's included in your product or service and how it’s delivered. But it's not the most important step.
The most important step is positioning your product or service. And that requires understanding what problem it solves and what result it offers. Don’t skip this! You can dive into astrological positioning of a product or service here.
The Product Packaging Planets: Saturn and the Moon
When I say structure or package in this blog post, I’m referring to what's included in your product or service and how it’s delivered to your client.
Is it a community?
Is it a course?
Is it a small, intimate group?
Is it an individual, one-to-one service?
Is it long or short?
Is it live or asynchronous?
Is it done-for-you, done-with-you, or do-it-yourself?
Is it a hybrid?
There are two places to look in your astrology chart for clues on your ideal offer design: Saturn and the Moon. Your ideal offer is most likely going to be a mesh of these two planets.
Saturn is the planet of structure in astrology, and its placement in your chart contains clues about the type of containers that'll not only feel the most natural, but will last the longest. These are the structures that’ll create the firmest foundation for your business, which is what we all want.
The Moon represents your needs and how your energy flows, as well as how you give and receive care the best. When you're supporting other people, you really want to understand how you do this naturally via your Moon sign. And plus, if you want to feel nurtured and regenerated by your own business, you want to build services that jive with your natal Moon.
Let’s dive into the element and zodiac sign of your Saturn and Moon, and explore what types of offer structures play nice with each.
Keep in mind, there’s a lot more astrology where this came from. This is just the tip of the iceberg. The holistic condition of these planets, including their aspects, house placement, speed, and visibility informs offer design as well. For a thorough assessment of your planets, come work with me.
Cardinal Signs: Aries, Libra, Cancer, Capricorn
If you have Saturn or the Moon in a cardinal sign, cardinal offer designs will probably feel best for you. Cardinal structures are typically shorter in duration, and they have a very specific goal or outcome.
Shorter-duration containers might look like a VIP day, a sprint, a challenge, or maybe a service package that lasts just a week or maybe one month at the most.
The focus of this package should be on whether or not the outcome was achieved. It’s honestly pass/fail. It either happened or it didn’t.
Fixed Signs: Taurus, Scorpio, Leo, Aquarius
Fixed zodiac signs happen right in the middle of a season, for example, right in the middle of winter or summer. They’re about consistency, durability, and longevity.
If we superimpose this onto offer design, the fixed signs are going to appreciate longer-duration containers that focus on consistent output. Perhaps these are 3, 6, 9, or 12-month containers or retainer models where a client is working with you for a long period of time.
If it’s a group offering, a fixed Saturn or Moon will probably feel best if the group is closed, meaning doors close on a specific date and no new members are allowed in. It’ll also have a very clear beginning and end date.
Typically, a fixed service also has a signature process or framework that it follows.
Mutable Signs: Gemini, Sagittarius, Virgo, Pisces
The mutable signs occur at the end of a season, when the season is transitioning from one to the next. This makes a mutable Saturn or Moon really good at juggling hybrid offer models. You might choose to incorporate a mixture of one-to-one and group experiences, or a mixture of live and asynchronous work.
Mutable signs often excel with medium-length containers, such as a month or quarter. But regardless of the duration, it must focus on offering a transformation. Remember, mutable signs are about transitioning from one season to the next.
Since mutable signs are flexible, it might not matter to you if people are entering and leaving your offer simultaneously. Perhaps you choose to have open enrollment where people may come and go at anytime
Fire Signs: Aries, Leo, Sagittarius
Now let's talk about the element associated with the zodiac sign of your Saturn and your Moon.
Fire is extremely dynamic and energetic. If you have Saturn or the Moon in a fire sign, your offer structure and delivery should mirror this type of dynamism. For example, live classes or appointments are the most fiery type of delivery.
Fire signs also appreciate speed and tend to do best with fast, efficient containers. A fire person will be exhausted by a 12-month offering.
Earth Signs: Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn
As compared to fire, earth is much more measured, practical, and a little bit more reserved. Instead of pressuring yourself to do live appointments or classes, maybe choose to lean more on asynchronous assets in your offer. This might look like prerecorded audio or video.
Earth is also very hands-on and tangible. This translates to deliverable assets such as worksheets, an e-book, or an online course. Whatever the format, your client is going to appreciate your thoroughness, your organization, and your step-by-step approach.
Air Signs: Gemini, Libra, Aquarius
Like fire, air is a very dynamic element. It's very social, and it loves to exchange information. Live classes and appointments are usually best. There’s a deep desire to connect with people in real time.
Air signs are often fulfilled by their offer when it has a community component. At the very least, there needs to be a way for the participants to ask questions, leave comments, and engage with the material.
Air signs really appreciate feedback. They want to talk it out. So, perhaps offering feedback is something you incorporate into your package. For example, maybe you're a copywriting mentor. Giving your students live feedback would be something that you’d both enjoy.
Water Signs: Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces
Water is the coolest, slowest element in astrology. In terms of offer structure, this means offers that require less live attention and more asynchronous touchpoints. Similar to earth, water may feel best offering prerecorded audio or video and tangible deliverables like worksheets or done-for-you services.
Water is a very emotional element. You might also choose to deliver your service as an intimate small group where participants can share the emotional journey of whatever it is that you're offering.
Regardless, a water container is going to be deeper and slower.
Example: Saturn in Aquarius, Moon in Libra
Let's do some examples to help ground this information. Let’s pretend we have Saturn in Aquarius and the Moon in Libra.
First, we want to think about where these signs overlap and where they’re different. Aquarius and Libra are both air signs, but Aquarius is fixed and Libra is cardinal.
We know that air signs typically do really well with live classes or appointments. And we know that whatever they offer needs to have a social component between these live touch points.
But we have a fixed sign that likes longer containers and a cardinal sign that appreciates shorter, results-based containers. What do we do?
This is where you might need to compromise and create an offer that gives love to both sides. I would try to meet in the middle. An example of this might be a six-week live group class with a Slack channel for feedback.
Example: Saturn in Pisces, Moon in Capricorn
Pisces is a mutable water sign and Capricorn is a cardinal earth sign. Where these signs overlap is that their elements, water and earth, are cooler and slower.
This immediately makes me think of cooler, slower delivery models. This looks like less live touch points and more asynchronous support, more done-for-you assets, or do-it-yourself services. It also might feel really good to give your clients tangible things like worksheets or templates.
Let’s think about where these signs differ. We have a water Saturn that wants to connect deeply, and then we have a Capricorn Moon that could do without the connection. It just wants to get things done.
Maybe we combine all of this together and create an offer that's a highly structured and practical prerecorded online course with a small group cohort that meets periodically for support. The practical online course checks the Capricorn box, and the intimate small group checks the Pisces box.
