Attract Consistent Dream Clients with Astrology

So, you’ve used your astrology chart to clarify why your business exists and the problems you’re cosmically-wired to solve. Now it’s time to clarify who you do this for, aka your ideal (cosmic) client, and how to attract them consistently.

Right now, you might be struggling to land clients no matter how much you post on social media. Or maybe you’re landing clients, but they're not really your ideal people. Maybe they don’t fully respect you, they ask too much of you, or they push your boundaries.

These two things are symptoms of, first, not knowing who your ideal client is and, second, not speaking their language or designing services that meet their needs.

I’ve noticed that many creative business owners just want to offer what they want to offer. They just want to do what they want to do. (And as a creative business owner myself, I totally get this.)

But the problem with this way of doing business is that when we only create what we desire, we tend to ignore what our ideal clients desire. And that equals zero sales. Nobody wants to buy what we’re selling because we’re so focused on ourselves.

In order to design a service that sells, you've got to understand the psychology of your ideal client. You need to understand their struggles as well as their dreams. You must understand what they really need and be willing to meet them there. You can find all of this information in your astrology chart.

Your Ideal (Cosmic) Client

There's a specific zodiac sign and planet in your astrology chart that represents your ideal client. And the more you know about these pieces and the more you incorporate them into your business, the more of that ideal person you'll attract. Not only will you land more consistent clients, you'll turn them into superfans.

The people represented by this zodiac sign are the people with problems that you can actually solve with your skillset. These are the people that will be offering to give you testimonials, people that will 1000% adore you, and tell their friends about you.

This zodiac sign is the one that occupies your seventh house. This is also called your descendant sign, and it's the sign that's opposite your rising or ascendant sign. Your ascendant sign represents you, while your descendant sign represents the not you, the other.

For this activity, I suggest not only looking at the zodiac sign that occupies the seventh house of your personal birth chart, but the zodiac sign that occupies the seventh house of your business’s birth chart. See if you can meld them together into a complete profile.

The second place to look for information on your dream client is the planet that rules the zodiac sign on your seventh house. For example, if you have Aries on the seventh house, Mars is the planet that represents your ideal client. Think about what might motivate this planet to take action or buy.

Let's do some examples to flesh this out. I won’t be going over all twelve zodiac signs in this post, just a few. So if you want the full scoop, be sure to sign up for my free, private podcast series, the Seventh House Secret.

Example: Aries on the 7th

Let's pretend that you have a Libra rising chart with Aries on the seventh house. You want to answer the following questions:

  • What desires might an Aries or Mars person have?

  • What problems might an Aries or Mars person have?

  • What type of language would resonate with an Aries or Mars type of person?

If I were a person with Aries-type characteristics, I would want quick results. I want it now. In fact, I want it yesterday.

I might also want to be a leader in my industry or field, or to be known for my boldness and courage. When you’re positioning your service, you want to speak to these types of Aries desires.

A problem that an Aries or Mars type person might have is impatience. They might also be impulsive, so they might start things but not really follow through or finish things. Perhaps that’s an Aries problem that you can solve with your skillset.

Aries-friendly language that you can sprinkle into your sales pages and into your social posts is very straightforward, very clear, and very direct. It's crisp and efficient. Aries people do not want to read long captions or emails. They want you to get to the point.

If you want to take this a step further, find the planet that rules your seventh house and pick apart the zodiac sign that it’s located in. In this example, Aries is on the seventh house. Aries is ruled by Mars. And let’s pretend Mars is in Scorpio in the second house. That’s going to add another layer of information about your client.

This tells us that we’re not only working with Aries-type people, we're working with Scorpio, second-house type people. These people are extremely ambitious and driven. Maybe they even identify as workaholics.

The second house placement tells us that they’re really motivated by making money. Don’t be shy about that! If you can position your service in a way that very clearly states that it’ll help them make more money…cha-ching! You just made a sale.

Example: Sagittarius on the 7th

Let’s pretend you’re a Gemini rising with Sagittarius on the seventh house. In this case, you’d want to brainstorm Sagittarius desires, problems, and language, as well as Jupiter desires, problems, and language. (Because Jupiter rules Sagittarius.)

Sagittarius people typically have huge dreams and really big visions that they want to bring to fruition. They also love to be free and unrestrained. Perhaps they want to make their own schedule, or be location independent and travel all the time. Another thing that Sagittarius people really love is knowledge. They love to learn and expand their brains.

One problem that Sagittarius people might need help solving is burnout. They get so excited that they often do too much. If that’s something one of your services could solve, be clear about that!

Another issue that Sagittarius tends to have as a mutable fire sign is inconsistency. They change their path a lot, and they might need a little bit of help staying the course.

They also tend to need help breaking their big visions down into steps. They can see the big picture, but they don't really know how to get from A to B to C to D. And that's something that you could probably help them with as a Gemini rising person.

When you're writing sales copy for a Sagittarius-type individual, you want to write in a way that really calls to them. That means big, bold language. I want you to paint the dream for them. Really lean into their big-picture vision. What’s the dream outcome? What does it feel like? What does it smell like? What does it look like?

Your language needs to be really hope-filled, expansive, uplifting, and almost exaggerative. And don’t be afraid to crack a joke if you’re trying to attract Sagittarius types.

Now, let's take this one step further. We have Sagittarius on the seventh house. Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter. And in our example, Jupiter is located in Aquarius in the ninth house. That adds an extra layer of nuance.

Now we know that this person isn't just Sagittarian in nature, they're Aquarian in nature too. They’re a really out-of-the-box thinker. They have unique perspectives. They like to know the rules so they can break them and make their own. And the ninth-house piece gives us a clue that they might be into subjects like astrology, human design, philosophy, religion, spirituality, or travel.

Example: Capricorn on the 7th

If you have Capricorn on the 7th house, you want to brainstorm both Capricorn and Saturn problems, desires, and language to call in your ideal client.

The energy of Capricorn is like being at the bottom of a mountain and looking up. Capricorn desires are usually about achievement. They want to succeed. They want to climb to the top. They want to win, and they want to have the best of the best in life. They're really in to peak experiences.

Now, on the flip side, some problems that a Capricorn individual might need help solving include working too much. They might be over committed. Or maybe they feel stuck in a grueling career. (Not uncommon for a Saturn-ruled sign.)

Saturn problems like self-doubt and fear of failure are others that you can position your product or service to solve. And finally, another thing that Saturn-ruled signs need help with occasionally is loneliness. They may be isolated, whether it's due to work, insecurity, or something else.

The language that a Capricorn client is going to recognize and appreciate is really practical, step-by-step, professional language. No poetry. No fluffy stuff. Give it to them straight. Give them the nuts and bolts. Give them the map.

Journaling Prompts

Okay, now it's your turn. I’m going to leave you with some Planet Channeling prompts to help you connect with your ideal client intuitively. If you don't know how to Planet Channel, check out this blog post.

Invoke the planet that represents your ideal client (your seventh-house ruler) to the page, and ask it the following questions:

  • Planet, what are my ideal clients' biggest streams and aspirations, and how does my skillset bring them closer to achieving them?

  • Planet, what does my ideal client worry about? What problems do they have that my skillset can solve?

  • Planet, what type of language and visual communication will stop my ideal client in their tracks?
